1. Eligibility

The Altacee Student Freemium Program is available to students who meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled in a recognized educational institution in India
• Possess a valid student ID card or enrollment certificate
• Have an active educational email address (.edu, .ac.in, .edu.in, or .nic.in domain)
• At least 18 years of age, or have parental consent if under 18

2. Credit System

2.1 Initial Credits

• Upon successful verification, students receive 10,000 free credits
• 1 credit = ₹1 value for Altacee services
• Credits are non-transferable and cannot be converted to cash

2.2 Earning Credits

• Referral bonus: 5,000 credits per successful referral
• Blog post: 3,000 credits per approved blog post
• Video testimonial: 5,000 credits per approved testimonial
• Workshop attendance: 1,000 credits per event attended
• Altacee reserves the right to verify all credit-earning activities

2.3 Credit Expiration

• Credits do not expire while student status is active
• After graduation, unused credits remain valid for 6 months
• Fraudulent activity may result in immediate credit forfeiture

3. Services & Usage

3.1 Free Services

• Single-page portfolio website (0 credits)
• Free subdomain hosting (yourname.altacee.com or yourname-altacee)
• Community support via Discord/email

3.2 Paid Services

• Multi-page portfolios, web apps, and MVPs require credits as per pricing
• Server management and premium hosting require ongoing credit payments
• Custom domain integration available for additional credits

3.3 Fair Use Policy

• Students may create unlimited portfolios using free tier
• Abuse, spam, or malicious use will result in account suspension
• Commercial use is permitted but must comply with our terms

4. Verification Process

• Verification typically completes within 24-48 hours
• False information may result in permanent program ban
• Altacee reserves the right to request additional verification documents
• Re-verification may be required annually or upon request

5. Referral Program

• Referral credits awarded only after referred student completes verification
• Fake or spam referrals will result in credit reversal and possible ban
• Maximum 50 referrals per student per academic year
• Referred students must be genuine new users

6. Intellectual Property

• Students retain full ownership of their projects and content
• Altacee may showcase student portfolios for marketing (with permission)
• Templates provided by Altacee remain Altacee's intellectual property
• Students may customize templates freely for personal/commercial use

7. Account Termination

Altacee reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Providing false information during verification
• Violating fair use policy or terms of service
• Fraudulent activity or abuse of credit system
• Harassment, spam, or malicious behavior
• Non-compliance with program requirements

8. Liability & Warranties

• Services provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind
• Altacee not liable for data loss, downtime, or service interruptions
• Students responsible for backing up their own work
• Free hosting comes with standard uptime guarantees (99%)

9. Privacy & Data

• Student data handled per Altacee's Privacy Policy
• Email addresses used only for program-related communication
• Student IDs stored securely and not shared with third parties
• Students may request data deletion after program exit

10. Program Changes

• Altacee may modify program terms, pricing, or features with 30 days notice
• Existing credits remain valid even if pricing changes
• Program may be discontinued with 90 days notice to active students
• Material changes communicated via email

11. Dispute Resolution

• Disputes first addressed through email: students@altacee.com
• Escalation to management if unresolved within 15 days
• Governed by laws of India, jurisdiction in Lucknow courts
