Neo
Any system that can place a trade can place the wrong one, and most trading codebases quietly grant that power to every file in the repository.
Exactly one file may write to the broker, and a boundary test fails the entire suite if a write verb appears anywhere else. Live orders stay behind an environment flag and a human confirmation in the browser. Execution runs on Kotak Neo; historical marks come from Groww, because Kotak ships no candle API and a strategy tested on the wrong data is not tested.
Strategies backtest against real traded marks and a live account is read continuously, while the path to an actual order stays deliberately manual — and the venue split is measured, not assumed: Rs 0.20 of brokerage across a month of roughly 200 orders, against Rs 20 per order elsewhere.
